I don't think so Marty boy. It will probably be Cough's dementia tablets that make him sick more than anything you say.

Oh, I'll be back whenever it suits me. I love talking about rugby with people who know their stuff.

I just won't bother with some sad loser who sees the rugby threads on here as an opportunity to exercise his inferiority complex.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
well, at least we know YOU don't have anything constructive to add to the Lions thread when it pops up.

I look forward to not seeing you on there.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
Er, we're not touring Australia, so your first two questions are irrelevant.

Your third is pointless as I can't see the value in exchanging on it with an inadequate, chip on the shoulder, point scoring troll.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
So you weren't happy with how he selected his team to absolutely dismantle Australia in the 3rd test last time and the tactics they used?

What would YOU have done differently?

How would YOU pick your side and tactics to beat the ABs and could YOU guarantee it would be better than Gatland?

Mart O 8:48 Mon Mar 20
Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
That's dim, even for you.

That one trick might have been good enough to beat Australia, but it probably won't be to beat New Zealand.

Especially in the backward, inbred, cunt infested shithole they call home.

And he had a shit squad to play with in comparison to who he can pick this time around.

So what's your point?

...says the bloke who spends his time on here telling us that the Aussies are shite.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
That one trick was good enough to win a Lions series last time out.

When a LOT of people criticised his selections for the 3rd test.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
What may most hurt the Lions chances is that Gatland is the ultimate one trick pony (and I speak as some who has regularly attended matches at a club managed by Gatland).

Unfortunately, everyone in rugby knows what that trick is.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
Every team can suffer when the pressure is on, not just the ABs. Recent AB teams however have dealt with pressure far better than some previously though, so I wouldn't rely on that being a factor. Sometimes you just have to hope you score more points.

Normally having a coach who originates from the country your touring would be a massive help - knows the culture, knows the people, knows the rugby etc.

But I don't think it will necessarily make much difference now. Everyone knows how the All Blacks play and their strengths and weaknesses, it's whether you can find a way to limit the former and exploit the latter, and I don't think Gatland being a Kiwi will help there because he's been out of our system for so long.

Probably won't hurt the Lions chances though.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
I honestly think we'll win at least 1 test and so it'll have to be the first or second to take it to a decider in the third. We all know how the AB's performance can suffer when the pressure's really on, so that's got to be our aim.

Do you think having a Kiwi as head coach will be a help or a hindrance for us?
